After a power cut
Some scenes or devices do not come back as expected.
Ask for the power-return behaviour to be checked.
Home Automation
Check visits, programming changes, updates and fault finding for lighting, shading, audio-video and control systems in villas and apartments.
In short: a smart home system needs the same care as any other building system: a yearly check, updates, changes when you add rooms or scenes, and a clear person to call when something stops working. Emirtech supports the systems it installs, and we will survey a system installed by someone else and tell you honestly what we can and cannot support. The scope and terms are written in a quotation or agreement, not promised verbally.
| Item | What it covers | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Check visit | Devices, keypads, scenes, controllers, panels and the network are tested room by room. | A short written note of what was checked and anything that needs attention. |
| Programming changes | New scenes, schedules, rooms or devices added to the existing system. | Scoped in writing before the work, so you know what changes. |
| Updates | Controller software, firmware and app updates where the platform allows them. | Done at a planned time and tested afterwards. |
| Fault finding and repair | Devices that stop responding, scenes that misfire, or a system that is slow. | A survey of the fault first, then a clear repair or replacement proposal. |
| Network and Wi-Fi health | Coverage, router and switch settings that smart devices depend on. | Weak areas are reported and options are explained. |
| Backup of programming | A copy of the system programming kept safe. | Agreed at handover or at the next visit, so a replacement controller can be restored. |
| Power and internet behaviour | How the system behaves after a power cut or when the internet is down. | Tested and written down, including what keeps working locally. |
| User guidance | Showing new occupants or family members how scenes, keypads and the app work. | Short and practical, in the room where the controls are. |

The right level depends on how much the home depends on the system.
Suits a small system or a home with few changes. We survey the fault and propose a fix.
Suits most villas: one planned visit a year to test, update and tidy the programming.
Suits large villas, estates and rented properties where several people use the system. Scope and terms are written down.
