Network Design & Implementation
A well-designed network is the foundation of every productive workplace. Emirtech Technology follows a structured methodology — from initial site survey and capacity planning through to hardware procurement, installation, configuration and user acceptance testing. We assess your current environment, forecast growth requirements, and produce a logical and physical network diagram before any hardware is ordered.
Our in-house engineers handle all aspects of the deployment: rack mounting and cable management, switch stack configuration, router and firewall policy setup, Wi-Fi channel planning, and integration with your internet service provider's edge equipment. Once live, we hand over full documentation including IP address plans, VLAN tables and device configurations.
VLAN & Network Segmentation
Segmenting your network into VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks) is one of the most effective ways to improve both security and performance. Emirtech designs VLAN schemes that separate guest Wi-Fi, management traffic, VoIP, CCTV and corporate data onto dedicated logical networks — limiting the blast radius of any security incident and reducing broadcast congestion. Inter-VLAN routing is handled at Layer 3 on the core switch or firewall to maintain controlled, auditable traffic flows between segments.
Firewall & VPN Configuration
We deploy and configure next-generation firewalls from Fortinet FortiGate and Cisco, as well as cost-effective solutions from MikroTik and DrayTek for smaller sites. Services include site-to-site IPsec VPN for multi-branch connectivity, SSL VPN for remote workers, application-aware filtering and bandwidth shaping policies. All firewall rules are documented and reviewed as part of our ongoing AMC service.
