We carry out fault finding and repair, lighting and socket circuits, distribution board upgrades, fit-out re-circuiting for a new layout, dedicated circuits for kitchen equipment, inspection and testing, and electrical maintenance contracts for shops, restaurants, cafes, clinics and offices. We reply the same working day to fault call-outs and test and document the work.
For industrial units in Mussafah, ICAD and KEZAD see the commercial and industrial electrician page. Our operating hours are Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 19:00; we are not a 24-hour service, so plan for that if your premises trade outside those hours.
Each type of premises has its own pattern of electrical needs. This table shows the usual needs and what we do.
| Premises | Typical electrical needs | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Shop or retail unit | Display and feature lighting, extra sockets, enough board capacity, emergency and exit lighting where specified | Lighting and socket circuits, board upgrade, testing and documentation |
| Restaurant or cafe | Dedicated circuits for kitchen equipment, extraction and refrigeration supplies, protected lighting for seating areas | Dedicated, correctly protected circuits and a tested handover; we wire the supply, we do not repair the equipment |
| Clinic | Lighting, small power and dedicated circuits | Installation and testing; healthcare approvals and medical-equipment certification are outside our scope |
| Office | Lighting, sockets, board capacity, re-circuiting for a new layout | Re-circuit to the new layout, test and document |
| New tenant fit-out | Existing board and supply to check, circuits to redo for the layout | Check, re-circuit, add or upgrade the board, test and document |
An electrical maintenance contract (AMC) gives planned inspection and testing plus response, and it can sit alongside CCTV, access control and cabling maintenance under one contract, so you deal with one team. See electrical maintenance and AMC and electrical inspection, testing and certification. For lighting and sockets see light, socket and ceiling fan installation.
Fit-out and alteration works normally need the landlord's or building manager's agreement, and a mall or building often controls access and working hours. The incoming supply, metering and any connection approval sit with ADDC and its registered providers, and we do not produce stamped MEP drawings. Ask your landlord or building manager what they require before work starts.
Commercial work follows the same honest-scope rules as the rest of our electrical pages.
