Office Wi-Fi with Emirtech: key facts

Who provides it?Emirtech Technology, based at M44, Mussafah Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi, in operation since 2018. The work is carried out by Emirtech's own engineers.
Where?Abu Dhabi and Al Ain first. Al Ain is served from Mussafah; there is no Al Ain office. In Dubai: IT AMC and time attendance by scheduled on-site visits, gate barriers, ANPR, video intercoms and turnstiles by Emirtech itself, and CCTV, alarm and access control through SIRA-approved partners, with Emirtech coordinating.
What is coveredSite survey from your floor plan, access point count and placement, Ethernet runs and PoE switching, separate staff, guest and IoT/CCTV networks, channel and power tuning, and integration with the firewall and identity setup.
Survey and quotationA site survey comes first, then a written, itemised quotation. We reply to enquiries the same working day. There is no price list and no standard duration: cost depends on the site, and the schedule is given in the quotation.
ApprovalsLandlord or building-management approvals for ceiling, riser or outdoor mounting are the building owner's or client's step unless agreed in writing.
BrandsEquipment is supplied through standard UAE distribution channels. Emirtech is an independent integrator, not a vendor partner of any Wi-Fi brand; it holds no manufacturer-level credential of its own.
Not includedInternet circuits from the ISP, a 24/7 network operations centre, and security systems in Dubai (Emirtech holds no SIRA licence).

How does Emirtech design office Wi-Fi for Abu Dhabi businesses?

Office Wi-Fi failure is rarely a hardware problem — it is a design problem. The wrong access-point count for the floor plan, the wrong placement, no separation between staff and guest traffic, channels chosen by the AP itself (badly), and no monitoring after install. Emirtech designs Wi-Fi starting from a site survey: floor plan, construction materials, expected device count, throughput needs (HD video calls, POS, CCTV, IoT), interference from neighbouring tenants. We then specify the right access-point model and count, propose Ethernet runs and PoE switching, configure SSIDs (staff with WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise where AD or Entra ID exists, guest with captive portal and bandwidth shaping, IoT and CCTV on separate VLANs), tune channels and power for the environment, and integrate with the firewall and identity setup. As an IT systems integrator based in Mussafah M44 since 2018, we serve offices, retail, hotels, restaurants, warehouses and project sites across every Abu Dhabi district plus Al Ain, and, in Dubai, IT AMC and time attendance through scheduled on-site visits.

What we deliver

Core Wi-Fi capabilities

Aruba Instant On & Aruba CX

Aruba Instant On AP-22/25/27/32 for SMB; Aruba CX 6100/6200/6300 switching; Aruba Central cloud management for multi-site visibility. Strong fit for offices that want enterprise features without enterprise complexity.

Cisco Meraki MR & MS

Cisco Meraki access points and switching with cloud-managed Dashboard — strong fit for multi-site businesses where central visibility, easy template-driven rollout and detailed analytics matter.

Ruijie Reyee & UniFi

Ruijie Reyee and Ubiquiti UniFi access points and switching — cost-effective options for budget-conscious offices, retail and project sites, with cloud-managed dashboards and growing feature sets.

Captive Portal & Guest Wi-Fi

Guest Wi-Fi on a separate VLAN with captive portal, splash page, bandwidth shaping and time-limited access — protecting POS, CCTV and staff networks from anything happening on the guest side.

A site survey, then a design — not just AP boxes on a ceiling

Many Wi-Fi complaints come from offices where someone bought three access points, plugged them in and walked away. Real Wi-Fi design starts with a site survey, considers floor plan, materials, device density and interference, then specifies the right AP model and count, Ethernet runs, PoE switching and SSID/VLAN architecture. Call +971 55 651 7843 or request a free Wi-Fi survey.

  • Site survey: floor plan, materials, device count, throughput needs
  • AP model and count specified — not over- or under-built
  • Cat6 / Cat6A cabling and PoE switching for every AP
  • Staff SSID (WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise where AD or Entra ID exists)
  • Guest SSID on separate VLAN with captive portal
  • IoT and CCTV on their own VLANs
  • Cloud-managed dashboard for visibility (Aruba Central, Meraki Dashboard, Ruijie Cloud)
  • AMC with channel tuning, firmware updates and capacity reviews

Where we install Wi-Fi

Sub-segments and use cases

SMB offices & corporate floors

Single-floor and multi-floor offices with 20-500 devices — properly sized AP count, structured cabling and cloud-managed Wi-Fi with monitoring.

Retail, F&B & hospitality

Shops, restaurants, cafes and hotels with separated POS, staff, guest and CCTV networks — captive-portal guest Wi-Fi with branding and marketing-platform integration where useful.

Warehouses & logistics

Warehouse Wi-Fi with high-power outdoor-rated APs for high ceilings, rugged scanner support and dense-environment tuning — Mussafah, ICAD, KIZAD and similar industrial catchments.

Project sites & events

Site-office and temporary deployments with mobile Wi-Fi, 4G backhaul and rapid mobilise/demobilise — designed for the construction-site lifecycle.

Wi-Fi platforms we install and where each fits

Wi-Fi platforms are not interchangeable — each fits a different use case and budget profile. Where each one fits:

  • Aruba Instant On: SMB offices wanting enterprise features (Wi-Fi 6, mesh, guest portal, app/web filtering) with simpler licensing than enterprise Aruba CX. Strong default for 5-25 AP deployments.
  • Cisco Meraki: Multi-site businesses where central cloud visibility, template-driven rollout and detailed analytics justify the subscription cost. Strong for retail and F&B chains.
  • Aruba CX: Larger or higher-security environments where Aruba Central, ClearPass and AirWave deliver enterprise-grade RBAC, 802.1X and policy enforcement.
  • Ruijie Reyee: Cost-effective cloud-managed Wi-Fi with growing feature set — strong for budget-conscious SMBs, retail and project sites that want a dashboard but not a high subscription cost.
  • UniFi (Ubiquiti): Self-hosted or UniFi-Cloud-managed Wi-Fi for SMBs and project sites — no per-AP subscription, full feature set, popular with technically-confident customers.

Emirtech is an independent integrator. We supply Aruba, Cisco Meraki, Ruijie, UniFi and TP-Link Omada through standard UAE distribution channels. We are not claiming an Aruba "Platinum", Cisco "Gold" or other partner-tier designation beyond what is on record.

Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

How many access points does my office need?
It depends on floor area, walls and materials, device count, throughput needs (HD video calls vs. basic browsing) and dense-environment considerations. A 200m² open office with 30 staff and HD video calls is very different from a 200m² partitioned office with 30 staff doing email. We site-survey before quoting.
Which Wi-Fi brand does Emirtech recommend?
Aruba Instant On is our default for SMB offices wanting enterprise features without enterprise complexity; Cisco Meraki for multi-site businesses needing central management; Aruba CX for larger or higher-security environments; Ruijie or UniFi for cost-conscious projects. We do not push one brand on every customer.
Can you separate staff Wi-Fi from guest Wi-Fi?
Yes — and you should. Staff and guest networks should be on separate VLANs, with guest access controlled by a captive portal, bandwidth shaping and time limits. POS, CCTV and IoT should also be on their own VLANs. The firewall enforces what each VLAN can reach.
Do you provide cloud-managed dashboards for Wi-Fi?
Yes. Aruba Central, Cisco Meraki Dashboard, Ruijie Cloud and UniFi Cloud / self-hosted controller — all support multi-site visibility, monitoring, alerts and template-driven configuration. The choice of platform depends on the AP brand.
What about Wi-Fi for warehouses, project sites and outdoor areas?
High-power outdoor-rated APs with appropriate IP ratings for warehouses, project sites and outdoor coverage — sized for high ceilings, rugged scanner support and dense-environment tuning. We also deploy mobile Wi-Fi towers with 4G backhaul for temporary deployments.
How do I get a quote for office Wi-Fi?
Call +971 55 651 7843 or request a free Wi-Fi survey. We visit your office, run a site survey and respond with a sized proposal once the survey is done.
Can WiFi be installed or upgraded in an occupied office without stopping work?
Often yes. Access points are usually ceiling-mounted, so the work can be phased by area or done outside working hours where the building allows, with ceiling access, noise and cutover agreed at the free site survey. Some disruption cannot always be avoided, particularly when cabling is added, so Emirtech does not promise zero disruption; the plan is written into the quotation.
Will you replace our du or Etisalat router, or work with it?
Both are possible. The internet circuit and the provider's router normally stay with the provider; the business Wi-Fi is built behind it, using the router's internet connection, with the provider's router either left as the gateway or set to bridge mode where the provider allows it. Emirtech does not supply internet circuits.
Do we need landlord or building-management approval for ceiling-mounted or outdoor access points?
Often yes. Work that opens ceilings, risers or cores, or mounts equipment on facades or poles, usually needs the approval of the landlord or building management, and outdoor or inter-building runs may need further permission. We note the access and approval needs we see at the survey; obtaining the permissions is the building owner's or client's step unless agreed otherwise in writing.
