How does Emirtech support cloud kitchens and ghost kitchens in Abu Dhabi?

Emirtech delivers the underlying IT, network, and surveillance infrastructure that keeps Abu Dhabi cloud kitchens, ghost kitchens, and dark kitchens running through every dinner rush. Founded in 2018 and operating from Mussafah M44, we are a systems integrator, ADMCC-approved (Abu Dhabi Monitoring & Control Centre) for security systems, serving multi-brand delivery-only F&B sites across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Our scope covers Wi-Fi 6 high-density coverage for kitchen floors running ten to thirty aggregator tablets simultaneously, structured cabling for kitchen-display systems (KDS) and printer networks, ADMCC-approved CCTV at prep, cooking, packing, and dispatch zones with camera angles planned for food-safety audit traceability, FortiGate firewalls, Microsoft 365 tenancy, endpoint detection and response (EDR), Veeam-based backup, IP-PBX for customer-service lines, biometric stockroom access, and multi-shift attendance hardware. We deliver the network that aggregator tablets sit on — we do not develop, integrate, or maintain the Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem Food or NoonFood applications themselves, and we are not affiliated with Kitopi, Munch:On, CloudFretti, or any specific cloud-kitchen operator. We are not a 24/7 SOC, not SIRA-licensed (Dubai), not ISO 27001 certified, and not an ADAFSA inspection body or DoH licensing authority. We work alongside your aggregator account managers, food-safety consultants, and ADAFSA-licensed pest-control vendors rather than replacing them. Typical engagements start with a site walkthrough of the kitchen footprint, brand count, aggregator-tablet density, and prep-line layout, followed by a scoped proposal covering cabling, access points, CCTV cameras, NVR storage, firewall, switches, KDS networking, and tablet-mounting hardware. Fit-out timelines in Mussafah, ICAD, KIZAD-adjacent zones, and Al Ain delivery hubs depend on kitchen count and civil readiness and are confirmed in the written proposal. Call +971 55 651 7843 or email [email protected] to book a site survey, and we will reply the same working day and send a written proposal tailored to your brand count, aggregator mix, and shift pattern after the survey.

Cloud kitchen IT capabilities

What we deliver for cloud and ghost kitchens

Wi-Fi 6 for tablet-dense kitchens

High-density Wi-Fi 6 access points engineered for kitchen floors running ten to thirty aggregator tablets concurrently. We survey for steam, stainless-steel reflection, and walk-in freezer interference, then place APs to keep Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem Food and NoonFood tablets connected through peak dinner-rush load.

ADMCC-approved kitchen CCTV

ADMCC-approved IP cameras covering prep stations, cooking lines, packing benches, dispatch handoff, stockrooms, and rider pickup doors. Camera angles are planned to support food-safety audit traceability and operator HACCP audit needs, agreed with your food-safety consultant. NVR storage sized to retention policy your operations team requires.

KDS and printer networking

Structured cabling and managed switching for kitchen-display systems, ticket printers, label printers, and aggregator-tablet mounts. We deliver the cabling, switching, and power, working alongside your KDS vendor and aggregator integrators who supply and configure the application software itself.

FortiGate, M365, EDR, backup

FortiGate firewall with segmented VLANs separating aggregator tablets, back-office laptops, CCTV, and guest Wi-Fi. Microsoft 365 tenancy with conditional access, endpoint detection and response on management laptops, and Veeam-based backup of POS, finance, and HR data for multi-brand cloud-kitchen operators.

Scoped fit-outs for delivery-only F&B operators

From single-brand ghost kitchens in Mussafah to twenty-brand cloud-kitchen incubators in ICAD and Al Ain delivery hubs, we scope the cabling, Wi-Fi, CCTV, and security layer to your brand count, aggregator mix, and shift pattern. Call +971 55 651 7843 or request a free cloud kitchen IT consultation.

Sub-segments served

Cloud-kitchen sub-segments we support

Multi-brand cloud kitchens

Single kitchen footprints running four to twenty virtual brands under one roof, each with their own aggregator tablet set, KDS lane, and packaging station. We design the network, CCTV, and cabling so each brand's workflow stays isolated yet centrally managed by your operations team.

Ghost-kitchen aggregator hubs

Delivery-only sites with no dine-in element, heavy rider-pickup throughput, and dispatch-door CCTV requirements. We size Wi-Fi and CCTV around rider density at peak windows and ensure rider-handoff zones are recorded for dispute resolution and food-safety audit traceability.

Dark-kitchen incubators

Shared dark-kitchen facilities hosting multiple independent F&B tenants. We deliver tenant-isolated VLANs, per-brand CCTV recording streams, and shared-infrastructure firewalling so each tenant operates on a logically separate network while sharing the building's physical fibre and AP fabric.

Central commissary kitchens

Centralised prep and cooking facilities that supply multiple satellite cloud-kitchen outlets across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. We deliver site-to-site VPN over FortiGate, CCTV across cold-chain loading bays, biometric stockroom access, and IP-PBX linking commissary and satellite kitchen customer-service teams.

Scope — what we deliver and explicitly do not

A common point of confusion is which vendor owns which layer of the technology stack. Our scope is deliberately narrow and honest:

  • We deliver: Wi-Fi 6 high-density access points, structured cabling, managed PoE switching, ADMCC-approved CCTV at prep, cooking, packing, dispatch, stockroom, and rider-pickup zones, NVR storage, FortiGate firewalls with VLAN segmentation, Microsoft 365 tenancy, endpoint detection and response on management devices, Veeam-based backup, IP-PBX customer-service lines, biometric stockroom access, multi-shift attendance hardware, KDS and printer networking, and aggregator-tablet mounting hardware.
  • We do not deliver: Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem Food or NoonFood application integration (handled by the aggregators' merchant onboarding teams); KDS application software itself (supplied by your chosen KDS vendor such as Foodics or similar regional vendors); POS application configuration; food-safety HACCP consulting (handled by licensed food-safety consultants); ADAFSA inspections; pest control; and ADAFSA or DoH licensing applications.
  • We are not: SIRA-licensed (Dubai authority), ISO 27001 certified, ADHICS accredited, PDPL certified, a Microsoft Solutions Partner tier holder, a Fortinet Expert, a Cisco Premier partner, a PCI QSA, a SOC 2 audit firm, a 24/7 SOC operator, an ADAFSA inspection body, a DoH licensing authority, or a certification body of any kind.
  • We are not affiliated with: Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem Food, NoonFood, Kitopi, CloudFretti, Munch:On, ADAFSA, the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH), or any specific cloud-kitchen operator or aggregator. We work alongside these organisations as an independent infrastructure integrator, never as their representative.
  • Engagement model: we begin with a site survey of the kitchen footprint, brand count, aggregator-tablet density, and prep-line layout, then produce a written scoped proposal covering cabling, access points, CCTV cameras, NVR storage, firewall, switches, KDS networking, and tablet-mounting hardware before any work begins.

Emirtech operates as an independent infrastructure integrator (ADMCC-approved for security systems). We take responsibility for the cabling, network, CCTV, and security layer, and we tell you plainly where our scope ends and your aggregator, KDS vendor, or food-safety consultant takes over.

Common questions

FAQs

Do you build or integrate the Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem Food or NoonFood applications?

No. We deliver the network, Wi-Fi, CCTV, cabling, firewall, and tablet-mount hardware that aggregator applications sit on. The aggregator apps themselves are supplied, configured, and supported by Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem Food and NoonFood directly through their merchant onboarding teams. We are not affiliated with any aggregator and work alongside your account managers rather than replacing them.

Can your CCTV support a food-safety audit?

We design ADMCC-approved CCTV layouts that cover prep, cooking, packing, dispatch, stockroom, and rider-pickup zones, with angles planned to support food-safety audit traceability. We are not an ADAFSA inspection body and we do not issue food-safety compliance certificates. We work with your appointed food-safety consultant or HACCP auditor to align camera coverage with their inspection checklist.

How many aggregator tablets can your Wi-Fi handle on one kitchen floor?

We engineer Wi-Fi 6 networks for cloud kitchens running ten to thirty concurrent aggregator tablets, plus KDS screens, ticket printers, and back-office devices. Actual capacity depends on kitchen size, brand count, steam and stainless-steel reflection patterns, and whether walk-in freezers sit between AP locations. A site survey from Mussafah M44 produces a scoped AP count and placement plan.

Do you cover ghost kitchens in Al Ain and Mussafah industrial zones?

Yes. Our geographic scope is Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. We can fit out cloud kitchens in Mussafah, ICAD, and Al Ain delivery hubs. We do not actively promote services in Dubai, Sharjah, or the Northern Emirates because we are not SIRA-licensed and our ADMCC approval applies to Abu Dhabi emirate sites.

What credentials does Emirtech actually hold for kitchen sites?

We are ADMCC-approved (Abu Dhabi Monitoring & Control Centre) for surveillance work and a Control4 installer working with a third-party authorised dealer. We are not SIRA-licensed (Dubai authority), not ISO 27001 certified, not ADHICS accredited, not a PCI QSA, and not a 24/7 SOC operator. We are not an ADAFSA inspection body or DoH licensing authority. Founded in 2018, operating from Mussafah M44.
