We specify cold-rated camera enclosures with heaters and anti-condensation glass, low-temperature-rated structured cabling, ruggedised PoE switches in conditioned IT rooms, and ANPR at vehicle gates for refrigerated truck arrivals. We also deliver network infrastructure for temperature monitoring systems — the cabling, switches, VLANs and Wi-Fi that the monitoring sensors run on. We do not issue food-safety temperature certificates, and we are not ADAFSA-approved (Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority) — ADAFSA registration of the cold-storage operator is a separate compliance track handled by the facility owner. We deliver the technical infrastructure that supports ADAFSA-audited operations: CCTV evidence retention, traceability cameras at receiving and dispatch, FortiGate firewalls, EDR endpoint protection and immutable backup. We are not a refrigeration contractor (we do not supply or service Carrier, Daikin, York or Trane refrigeration plant) and we are not a temperature-sensor distributor for Testo, Vaisala or Comark — we integrate the IP network those systems require. No. Standard commercial IP cameras typically fail within months in continuous sub-zero conditions because of condensation, frost on the lens and thermal shock at chamber doors. For chillers and frozen warehouses we specify cold-rated camera enclosures with built-in heaters, anti-condensation viewing glass and IP66 gland-sealed cable entries, plus low-temperature-rated cabling. Switches and recorders sit in a conditioned IT room, never inside the cold space.
No. Emirtech is not a refrigeration contractor. We do not supply, install or service Carrier, Daikin, York, Trane or any other refrigeration compressor, evaporator or chiller plant, and we are not a brand distributor for those manufacturers. Refrigeration plant should be handled by a specialist MEP contractor. Our scope is electronic security, structured cabling, network, access control and IT — the systems that monitor, record and protect the cold-store operation.
Yes — at the network layer. We deliver the structured cabling, PoE switches, VLAN segmentation and Wi-Fi that third-party temperature monitoring systems (such as Testo, Vaisala or Comark) need to run on. We do not supply the sensors themselves, we do not calibrate them and we do not issue temperature certificates. We can coordinate IP addressing, VLAN tagging and firewall rules with your monitoring vendor during commissioning.
