Bluewaters Island is an artificial island off the Jumeirah Beach Residence coastline near Dubai Marina, developed by Meraas and opened in 2018 — home to Ain Dubai (the world's tallest observation wheel) and Madame Tussauds Dubai, with residential towers of apartments and penthouses alongside the island's entertainment, hospitality and retail zones. Unlike a villa community, Bluewaters is a high-rise residential catchment, and Emirtech's technical scope is sized accordingly: Control4 smart home — our authorised dealer status covers the UAE including Dubai, scaled from a single-floor apartment to a multi-level penthouse, with lighting, multi-room AV, climate, motorised shades, video intercom and camera integration; high-rise Wi-Fi designed around concrete-and-steel construction and existing riser/conduit routes rather than open villa plots; structured cabling run through existing building infrastructure, coordinated with facilities management booking windows; video intercom (DoorBird, Comelit, Hikvision) integrated with Control4 and the building's own entry system where compatible; biometric entry for the unit's own front door; private residential CCTV for the interior, terrace or balcony (where SIRA does not apply) — building-wide lobby, corridor and perimeter CCTV remains the responsibility of the building's owners' association or facilities management, not an individual resident. Honest scope on Dubai CCTV: Emirtech is ADMCC-approved for security systems in Abu Dhabi — we are not SIRA-approved for Dubai CCTV regulatory work. For SIRA-regulated commercial CCTV, we deliver that portion through SIRA-approved partners, with Emirtech coordinating. For non-regulated Dubai work — IT, networking, M365, business Wi-Fi, structured cabling, smart home (Control4), private residential CCTV where SIRA does not apply, server / storage, EDR, backup, AMC — Emirtech serves Dubai customers commercially. A Bluewaters Island engagement would typically be Control4 for an apartment or penthouse, coordinated around the building's own access and working-hours policies.
