What IT does Al Quoz need, and what does Emirtech do there?
Al Quoz was designated by the Dubai government for industrial development in the 1970s-80s, and its four Al Quoz Industrial sub-districts — sitting between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road — remain home to a dense concentration of factories, warehouses and workshops covering construction materials, metal fabrication, textiles, plastics, printing and food processing, alongside major facilities such as the Dubai Refreshments (PepsiCo) bottling plant. Since the late 1990s the same district has developed a parallel identity: The Courtyard opened in 1998, and Alserkal Avenue launched in 2008 inside a former warehouse complex, now housing 70-plus contemporary art galleries, creative studios and performance venues (including Cinema Akil, the GCC's first independent arthouse cinema) — formalised by the government's 2021 launch of the Al Quoz Creative Zone. Thousands of businesses are registered in Al Quoz, and the Sheikh Zayed Road frontage also carries a corridor of automotive dealerships (Tesla, BMW, Nissan, Toyota and others) and showrooms. That dual industrial-and-creative identity is genuinely unusual for a single Dubai district, and it changes what a technical installer has to plan for: a working warehouse needs cabling and networking planned for large floorplates, dust and heat, while a converted-warehouse gallery or showroom needs tidy, low-profile cabling and Wi-Fi that does not dominate an exhibition room. Emirtech Technology (ADMCC-approved for security systems in Abu Dhabi) supports Al Quoz businesses with IT infrastructure, structured cabling and networking, IT AMC and time attendance through scheduled on-site visits from Abu Dhabi. It has no Dubai office and does not hold a SIRA licence, so Dubai CCTV, access control, alarm and other security projects are delivered through SIRA-approved partners, with Emirtech coordinating. In practice, that means structured cabling and networking for warehouse Wi-Fi, PoS and back-office systems, planned for the actual building; IT AMC suited to Al Quoz's dusty, high-vibration industrial environment; and time attendance terminals and software for HR. For CCTV, access control, alarms or other security systems, these projects are delivered through SIRA-approved partners, with Emirtech coordinating.

Structured Cabling & IT for Al Quoz Operations
Al Quoz's large warehouse floorplates and mixed industrial/creative units need cabling and network infrastructure planned for the actual building, not a standard office fit-out. Emirtech's in-house teams install CAT6/CAT6A structured cabling and PoE networks for Wi-Fi access points and workstation runs, and fibre backbone where distances exceed copper's practical range across larger plots. For businesses running a point-of-sale system in a showroom or gallery alongside warehouse operations, we also design and support the back-office IT and networking that ties both sides of the business together.

Security systems for either side are SIRA-regulated work, delivered through SIRA-approved partners, with Emirtech coordinating.
