The raw event stream (card-in, card-out, denied access, door-forced-open, tailgate alert, mustering scan) is staged, normalised, and pushed into the BI tool of choice, where we build dashboards covering peak entry times by hour, daily attendance heat-maps for HR, after-hours access exception lists, failed-card-attempt trends for the security director, occupancy-by-hour for facilities, visitor-versus-employee ratio for reception, and cost-centre allocation for finance. Refresh can be scheduled hourly, daily, or near-real-time through a gateway. We document the data pipeline, role-based viewer permissions, and refresh schedules in your handover pack. Honest scope: we configure the data feed and build the dashboards using BI tools licensed by the customer. We are not a Microsoft Power BI Authorised Partner, not a Tableau (Salesforce) Authorised Implementation Partner, not a Google Looker Studio Authorised Partner, not a Qlik Sense Authorised Partner, and we do not resell BI licences — the customer procures Power BI Pro / Premium, Tableau Server / Cloud, or Qlik Sense subscriptions directly from Microsoft, Salesforce, Google, or Qlik. Source Platforms and BI Targets
ZKBio CVSecurity exposes a REST API and MS SQL Server backend; BioStar 2 ships a documented API and MariaDB store. We extract the transaction and event tables into the BI tool with incremental refresh for performance.
Pro-Watch stores events in SQL Server (PWNT database) and Lenel OnGuard in OnGuard SQL — both queryable via read-only views. We coordinate the SQL user creation with the platform administrator before connecting Power BI or Tableau.
Matrix COSEC Centra and ESSL eTimeTrackLite expose API endpoints and SQL backends suitable for attendance and access reporting. Useful for SMB Abu Dhabi sites without enterprise SIEM licensing.
Customer-licensed Power BI Pro / Premium, Tableau Server / Cloud, Google Looker Studio (free / Pro) or Qlik Sense Enterprise. We do not resell BI subscriptions — those are procured from the vendor directly.
Access analytics dashboards bridge an operational access platform and a business intelligence tool. The boundaries below clarify exactly what Emirtech configures, what is the customer's responsibility, and which authorised-partner statuses we do not hold.
The deliverable is a documented, customer-owned BI dashboard set that the customer can extend, restrict, or migrate at any time. We hand over the editable source files and a data dictionary so internal BI teams or other consultants can take ownership cleanly.

We are ADMCC-approved for electronic security work in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain only and not SIRA-licensed for Dubai.
Not necessarily. Power BI Pro suffices for most departmental dashboards with up to eight daily refreshes; Premium is required for forty-eight refreshes, large datasets or distribution to free viewers. Tableau Server / Cloud allows greater control. We help you size the licence, but the customer procures it directly.
Refresh frequency depends on the BI tool and licence tier. Typical configurations are scheduled refreshes (up to eight a day on Power BI Pro; more frequent refresh needs Premium or Fabric capacity) through an on-premise data gateway, or near-real-time using DirectQuery / live-connection where the source platform supports it. We document the agreed refresh cadence in the handover pack.
We configure row-level security so only authorised viewers see cardholder identifiers, and we recommend masking biometric template metadata. Biometric template data is sensitive personal data under UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021); the customer remains data controller and is responsible for consent, retention policy and data subject rights.
