Network Design & VLAN Segregation
Dedicated CCTV VLAN with PoE+ or PoE++ switches sized to camera draw. Cat6A structured cabling certified by Fluke DSX. Multicast configured for VMS efficiency. NTP, syslog and RADIUS authentication where required by the client security policy.
ADMCC Compliance & Documentation

Honesty about scope and credentials matters more than marketing. Below is exactly what an Emirtech Axis Communications engagement includes — and where the limits sit. Read this carefully before committing to a premium-tier CCTV budget.
- We deliver: Axis P-series, Q-series, M-series and A-series installation; AXIS Camera Station Pro commissioning; Milestone XProtect integration via AXIS Optimizer; Axis edge analytics (Object Analytics, Loitering Guard, Motion Guard); AXIS Device Manager fleet hardening; ADMCC-compliant documentation; structured Cat6A cabling; PoE+ switching; annual preventive maintenance.
- We do not deliver: Axis access control (A1601 / A1610) commissioning at scale without a separate brief; bespoke ACAP (AXIS Camera Application Platform) software development; integration with VMS platforms outside Milestone, Genetec or AXIS Camera Station; or Axis radar perimeter detection D2050/D2110 without a dedicated site survey.

- Geographic scope: ADMCC-regulated CCTV installation in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Dubai sites are accepted only for non-regulated IT and networking work supporting Axis cameras, not for SIRA-scope security installations.
- Realistic budget guidance: Axis cameras typically land at 2-4x equivalent Hikvision pricing per camera, with the premium usually larger on Q-series than on P-series (indicative only; confirmed after the survey). We will quote Hikvision or Dahua alternatives alongside Axis on request so you can make an informed decision.

No. Emirtech installs Axis Communications systems commercially via authorised UAE distribution channels — we are NOT an Axis Channel Partner Gold, Axis Channel Partner Platinum, Axis Authorised Reseller, or Axis Solution Partner of any tier. We hold no manufacturer credential of our own. We are honest about this on every Axis engagement.
Why is Axis so much more expensive than Hikvision or Dahua?
Axis cameras typically cost 2-4x equivalent Hikvision or Dahua models. The premium pays for Swedish engineering, a strong cybersecurity track record, AXIS Edge Vault hardware-protected keys, signed firmware, 5-year warranties on P/Q series and Lightfinder 2.0 low-light performance. For premium villas and banks the lifetime cost-of-ownership often justifies it — for general commercial CCTV it usually does not.
Can Emirtech integrate Axis cameras into our existing Milestone XProtect VMS?
Yes. We install AXIS Optimizer for Milestone XProtect — a plug-in that enables one-click Axis device commissioning, edge analytics configuration, firmware management and password rotation across Milestone Express+, Professional+ and Expert. We also configure Axis ACAP analytics to surface metadata events directly into the XProtect timeline.
Does Emirtech sell AXIS Camera Station recorders, and what licensing model applies?
Yes — we commission AXIS Camera Station Pro turnkey recorders (S1216, S2208, S2216, S1232) as appliance-style installations. Licensing is a one-time per-channel core licence with optional Edge licence for distributed sites and Smart Search 2 for forensic search. We size storage with RAID-1 or RAID-5 to your retention requirement (commonly 60 or 90 days; confirm the current ADMCC requirement).
Does Emirtech work in Dubai for Axis CCTV?
For regulated electronic security work we operate in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain only — we are ADMCC-approved but do not hold SIRA approval for Dubai. For non-regulated IT and networking work supporting an Axis deployment in Dubai (structured cabling, switching, Milestone server installation) we can support, but the regulated CCTV installation and SIRA paperwork must be handled by a Dubai-licensed partner.
