What does Abu Dhabi Police smart-policing awareness involve, and what is Emirtech's honest scope?

Abu Dhabi Police smart-policing initiatives include Falcon Eye — the city-wide surveillance network operated by the Abu Dhabi Monitoring and Control Centre (ADMCC), AI-analytics applied to public-realm CCTV feeds, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) integrated with traffic and criminal databases, biometric border control, the AD Police mobile policing app, and smart traffic management programmes across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Private-sector touchpoints arise when commercial CCTV, access control and ANPR systems on private property must align with Police-coordination procedures — for example, retention, evidence-handover formats, ANPR feed compatibility, and lawful disclosure on request. Emirtech is an Abu Dhabi-based electronic security installer founded in 2018, headquartered at M44, Mussafah Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi, and is ADMCC-approved for electronic security work within the Abu Dhabi Emirate. Our role on this awareness page is strictly educational and technical: we install and configure private-property CCTV, ANPR cameras and access-control hardware that customers may, separately and at their own discretion, present to Abu Dhabi Police during investigations or coordination procedures. We make a deliberately narrow honest disclosure — Emirtech is not a UAE Police-licensed entity, not an Abu Dhabi Police authorised partner, not a Police-cleared specialist, not a Ministry of Interior-licensed entity, and not a 24/7 Security Operations Centre operator. We do not deliver Falcon Eye integration, we do not feed private CCTV into Police networks, we do not access Police criminal databases, we do not provide biometric border-control systems, and we do not act on behalf of Abu Dhabi Police in any capacity. We do not represent specific Abu Dhabi Police smart-policing initiatives, the UAE Ministry of Interior, or any authorised Police-coordination distributor. For any direct Police interaction, customers must engage Abu Dhabi Police through official channels at www.adpolice.gov.ae or call 999 for emergencies. For private-property CCTV, ANPR and access-control installation that conforms to ADMCC technical standards in Abu Dhabi, contact our Mussafah office on +971 55 651 7843 or [email protected].

Honest boundaries — what we explicitly do not do

Where Emirtech stops and Abu Dhabi Police begins

No Falcon Eye integration

We do not integrate private CCTV into the Falcon Eye network, do not push feeds to Police video walls, and do not configure any link between private NVR/VMS systems and Abu Dhabi Police infrastructure.

No Police database access

We do not access Abu Dhabi Police traffic databases, criminal databases or ANPR central systems. Private ANPR logs remain on the customer's own server unless lawfully requested through official channels.

No biometric border control

We do not supply, install or integrate biometric border-control systems. We are not an ICP-licensed entity and do not handle border-related biometric data.

Not a Police-licensed entity

Emirtech is not a UAE Police-licensed entity, not a Ministry of Interior-licensed entity, and not an Abu Dhabi Police authorised partner. We hold ADMCC approval only, for electronic security installation.

Scope — what we deliver and explicitly do not

Emirtech maintains a deliberately narrow honest scope on Abu Dhabi Police smart-policing awareness. We discuss publicly known initiatives at an educational level and install private-property equipment that customers may, at their own discretion and through official channels, present to Abu Dhabi Police. We do not represent, integrate with, or act for Abu Dhabi Police in any capacity.

  • We deliver: awareness-level briefings on Abu Dhabi Police smart-policing initiatives, customer-side CCTV / ANPR / access-control installation under ADMCC approval, evidence-handover format readiness on private NVRs, time-sync configuration, retention setup, and documentation packs for customer-held records across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
  • We do not deliver: Falcon Eye network integration, feeds into Abu Dhabi Police networks, Police traffic or criminal database access, ANPR central-system integration, biometric border control, AD Police mobile-app integration, Police-cleared investigations, 24/7 Security Operations Centre services, or any action taken on behalf of Abu Dhabi Police.
  • We are not: a UAE Police-licensed entity, a Ministry of Interior-licensed entity, an Abu Dhabi Police authorised partner, a Police-cleared specialist, an ICP-licensed entity, a SIRA-licensed entity, an ISO 27001 / NESA / ADHICS / PDPL-certified provider, a DoH / ADAFSA / DCT / ADCD / GCAA-endorsed entity, or a 24/7 SOC operator.
  • We are not affiliated with: Abu Dhabi Police, specific Abu Dhabi Police smart-policing initiatives (Falcon Eye, AD Police mobile app, smart traffic management programmes), the UAE Ministry of Interior, or any authorised Abu Dhabi Police-coordination distributor.
  • Geographic scope is the Abu Dhabi Emirate only for ADMCC-regulated electronic security work, covering Abu Dhabi city and Al Ain.
  • Biometric template data captured by any private access-control system we install is treated as sensitive personal data under UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021); customers retain controller responsibility.
  • All direct Abu Dhabi Police interactions must be conducted by the customer through official channels — 999 for emergencies, www.adpolice.gov.ae for general matters.
  • Emirtech holds ADMCC approval and Control4 installation through a third-party dealer; we hold no manufacturer credential of our own.

If you require direct Abu Dhabi Police engagement, integration into Police networks, or any Police-cleared service, you must engage Abu Dhabi Police directly. Emirtech can support the private-property installation layer only, within ADMCC technical standards.

Common questions

FAQs

Is Emirtech an Abu Dhabi Police partner or Police-licensed entity?

No. Emirtech is explicitly not a UAE Police-licensed entity, not a Ministry of Interior-licensed entity, not an Abu Dhabi Police authorised partner, and not a Police-cleared specialist. We hold ADMCC approval for electronic security installation in the Abu Dhabi Emirate and are a Control4 installer working with a third-party authorised dealer. For any direct Police matter, contact Abu Dhabi Police on 999 or www.adpolice.gov.ae.

Can Emirtech integrate my private CCTV with the Falcon Eye city surveillance network?

No. We do not integrate private CCTV into Falcon Eye or any Abu Dhabi Police or ADMCC network. We install private-property CCTV that remains on the customer's own NVR/VMS. Any Police request for footage must follow official lawful-disclosure channels, and the customer retains full control of their own recordings.

Does Emirtech access Abu Dhabi Police ANPR, traffic or criminal databases?

No. We do not access Abu Dhabi Police ANPR central systems, traffic databases or criminal databases. Private ANPR cameras we install log plates locally for the customer's own commercial use, such as gate access or visitor logging — they are not connected to Police back-end systems.

What is Emirtech's geographic scope for this awareness service?

Awareness discussions and ADMCC-compliant private-property installation are delivered across the Abu Dhabi Emirate — including Abu Dhabi city and Al Ain. We do not operate ADMCC-regulated electronic security work outside the Abu Dhabi Emirate. Our office is at M44, Mussafah Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi.

How does private CCTV interact with UAE PDPL when Police request footage?

Biometric template data and CCTV recordings on customer systems are subject to UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). The customer is the data controller and decides how to respond to lawful disclosure requests. Emirtech configures retention, encryption settings and audit logs at installation; we are not a PDPL-certified provider and do not advise on legal disclosure.
