We hold no manufacturer-level credential of our own. We install and configure QNAP hardware sourced through authorised UAE distribution so manufacturer warranty and RMA remain intact.
Which QNAP models do you deploy for SMB customers?
For small offices we deploy TS-264, TS-364, TS-464 and TS-664 desktop towers. For mid-market file and backup workloads we use the TS-1273AU rackmount and TS-873A for virtualization and multimedia. For workloads needing ZFS data integrity we deploy TS-h973AX and TS-h series rackmount units running QuTS hero.
Do you support QuTS hero with ZFS, or only QTS?
We deploy both. QTS is appropriate for general SMB file and backup workloads on TS-x64 and TS-873A class hardware. QuTS hero with ZFS, inline deduplication, compression and snapshot replication is recommended on TS-h hardware for finance, legal and archive use cases where data integrity and immutable snapshots are priorities.
Can QNAP NAS act as a Veeam or Hyper-V backup repository?
Yes. We configure dedicated QNAP units — typically TS-1273AU or TS-h rackmount — as Veeam Backup and Replication repositories, Windows Server Backup targets or Hyper-V backup destinations. We set up immutable snapshots, HBS 3 copy jobs to a second site or S3-compatible cloud via QuObjects, and align retention with your RPO and RTO.
Do you cover Dubai or only Abu Dhabi?
Yes. Abu Dhabi and Al Ain are our priority areas, and in Dubai: IT AMC and time attendance by scheduled on-site visits, gate barriers, ANPR, video intercoms and turnstiles by Emirtech itself, and CCTV, alarm and access control through SIRA-approved partners, with Emirtech coordinating; we do not mobilise to Sharjah or the Northern Emirates. If your project also includes Sharjah or the Northern Emirates we will deliver the Abu Dhabi, Al Ain or Dubai portion and ask you to engage a local integrator for the other sites.
