National-family villas
Wing-by-wing scenes and schedules for large households: the majlis ready for hosting in one press, bedrooms on night logic, and staff given everyday control without reach into family settings.
Home Automation · Abu Dhabi
A large villa asks a great deal of whoever runs it. Across Al Wathba's expansive national-family properties — main house, majlis, gardens, staff quarters, sometimes a working farm or stable yard beyond — someone is forever switching off distant lights, cooling rooms nobody is in, and walking the plot to check what should have been checked from a chair. Emirtech Technology installs home automation that takes that work over: lighting scenes for hosting in the majlis, air-conditioning schedules that stop guest wings cooling themselves empty, garden and boundary lighting that follows the sun rather than a memory, and a single Away mode that settles the whole property when the family leaves for the season. Control sits on wall keypads, family phones, or both. We survey free of charge and give an itemised written quotation before work begins.
Automating an Al Wathba property is estate work, not gadget fitting, and the district's character sets the brief. The homes are big: dozens of lighting circuits, many split or ducted AC zones, a majlis that must move from family quiet to full hospitality at an hour's notice. The plots are bigger: courtyard, garden and boundary lighting matter for both beauty and security on land this open, and the walk to switch any of it off is real. And the properties are lived in distinctively — staff who need everyday control without access to the family's settings, a men's majlis with its own scenes and schedule, seasons when the household decamps and the villa must mind itself. We design to those facts. Lighting is gathered into scenes per wing and per occasion; AC runs to occupancy and calendar rather than habit, which on villas this size is where the system can reduce running costs; exterior lighting follows sunset year-round; and irrigation or yard circuits can join the same schedules where the property runs them. Crucially for a district of distances, everything reports to the owner's phone — the far gate, the guest wing's thermostat, the garden lights — so oversight no longer requires presence. Emirtech Technology has worked in Abu Dhabi since 2018, and our ADMCC approval for security systems means the automation can be designed alongside the property's regulated security layer — cameras, intercom, gates — rather than bolted over it. From M44 Mussafah we reach Al Wathba easily for surveys and after-care. The process is unhurried and precise: a free survey walking every wing, a design built around the household's actual rhythms, and an itemised written quotation with nothing vague in it.

The system shows its worth at the two extremes of villa life. When the house is full — a weekend gathering, racing season guests, Eid — one keypad press sets the majlis: lighting warm and layered, AC pre-run so the room is already comfortable, courtyard and approach lights welcoming arrivals. Staff serve rather than circle the property flipping switches. When the house is empty, the same system becomes its caretaker: Away mode drops every unneeded circuit, holds AC at protective setpoints rather than comfort ones, runs exterior lighting to schedule so the plot never advertises absence, and sends configured alerts to the family's phones. Between those poles, daily life simply gets lighter — bedtime from one button, the garden lit for the evening without anyone fetching it, the guest wing asleep until guests exist.
None of this stands without infrastructure: scenes, schedules and remote oversight all ride the plot's network, which on properties this size deserves engineering of its own — see our networking & Wi-Fi service for Al Wathba. Platform choices, from single-villa systems to full estate control, are laid out on the main Home Automation page.

Wing-by-wing scenes and schedules for large households: the majlis ready for hosting in one press, bedrooms on night logic, and staff given everyday control without reach into family settings.
Layered lighting moods, pre-conditioned cooling and courtyard arrival lighting composed as occasions — so hospitality, the district's great tradition, runs on a keypad rather than on errands.
Yard and boundary lighting, pump and irrigation circuits and outbuilding power joined to the same schedules and Away logic as the house — one system minding the whole plot.
Automation designed at first fix costs less and hides better: wiring planned before plaster, keypads where the rooms will actually be used, and capacity left for the wings a family adds later.
