- We integrate with: EMR / HIS / PACS / LIS platforms via supported network handoffs — these are operated by the clinic and its software vendors; we provide the infrastructure layer they run on.
- We do not deliver: The EMR / HIS / PACS / LIS software itself, clinical-governance consultancy, DoH-licensing advisory, ADHICS audit, JCI accreditation, coding or billing services.
- We do not certify: ADHICS compliance, DoH licensing, JCI accreditation, Malaffi connectivity certification or any clinical / regulatory standard.

Emirtech delivers the underlying network, server, storage and security infrastructure that supports Malaffi-connected systems. Malaffi connectivity itself is between your clinic and Abu Dhabi Health Data Services (ADHDS); we are not a Malaffi vendor, integrator or accredited connectivity partner. We provide the technical foundation your team works on top of.
Are you ADHICS-accredited or DoH-licensed?
No. Emirtech is a security and IT systems integrator (ADMCC-approved for security systems) — we are not a DoH-licensed cybersecurity consultancy or ADHICS-accredited auditor. ADHICS compliance and DoH licensing are matters between the clinic, its compliance lead and DoH directly. We deliver the technical controls that support — but do not replace — the clinic's ADHICS programme.
How do you size storage for clinic imaging archives?
We start from your real PACS imaging volume per month, retention period required, modality mix (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, dental imaging) and expected growth — then size NAS or SAN storage with appropriate RAID, headroom and tiering. PACS imaging volume varies dramatically between clinic types; we do not apply generic templates.
Do you provide backup for EMR and imaging data?
Yes. We deploy Veeam, Acronis or Nakivo backup of EMR database, imaging files and clinic records — with off-site or cloud copies following the 3-2-1 rule (health data is generally expected to stay in the UAE; confirm the current requirement with DoH), encryption at rest and tested restore procedures. Granular restore for individual patient records is supported on platforms designed for it.
