The Dynalite system architecture is built around an RS-485 control network running the DyNet protocol (DALI lighting segments are bridged in through DALI controllers) — connecting dimmers (DDBC and DDRC series), relay panels, multipurpose controllers (DDMC series) and a broad range of panel interfaces into a single, scalable installation. EnvisionProject software is used for system design, while EnvisionGateway provides ongoing monitoring, scheduling and integration with BMS or DALI-2 networks, making Dynalite a practical choice for projects that demand centralised lighting management across large and complex floor plans. Signify's continued development of the Dynalite platform means the hardware and software ecosystem is actively maintained, with compatibility paths for both retrofit and new-build installations. Product range
Dynalite DDBC (DALI driver controllers) and DDRC (DyNet relay/dimmer) controllers manage individual lighting circuits or zones across a DyNet RS-485 network. Emirtech sizes and installs these dimmer panels to match the load types — LED drivers, fluorescent ballasts or incandescent — and configures scene presets and transition times in EnvisionProject to suit each space's operational requirements.
Dynalite DDMC multipurpose controllers extend the DyNet network to handle relay outputs, DALI segments, sensor inputs and logic control within a single unit. Combined with Dynalite wall panels and keypad interfaces, they allow staff or building occupants to recall lighting scenes, adjust brightness or trigger timed sequences from elegantly styled, room-mounted controls.
EnvisionProject is the Dynalite commissioning tool used to design the network topology, assign addresses, programme scenes and schedule daylight or occupancy responses before handover. EnvisionGateway provides the ongoing web-based management interface, enabling facility managers to monitor energy consumption, edit schedules, adjust scenes and integrate the Dynalite network with third-party BMS, KNX or IP-based building management platforms.

We begin with a lighting control design — determining zone layouts, dimmer and relay panel locations, DyNet cabling routes and panel interface positions — before procuring the specified Dynalite hardware.
