Registry integration covers Docker Hub, Azure Container Registry (ACR), AWS Elastic Container Registry (ECR), GitHub Container Registry (GHCR) and GitLab Container Registry, including image-pull secrets, vulnerability scanning hooks and lifecycle policies. Hosting targets include on-premises Linux servers, Windows Server container hosts for Windows containers, and managed cloud runtimes such as Azure Container Instances (ACI) and AWS Fargate. Honest scope: we deploy and harden the Docker host, configure the container runtime, set up image registries and integrate CI/CD build agents — actual application containerisation (writing Dockerfiles, refactoring monoliths, building images) is best done by your in-house development team or a specialist container-platform consultancy. No. Emirtech is not a Docker Inc. Authorised Partner, Docker Verified Publisher or authorised Docker distributor in the UAE. We deploy and configure Docker Engine, Docker Compose, Docker Swarm and Docker Desktop on customer infrastructure as an independent IT contractor (our ADMCC approval covers security systems work only). We hold no manufacturer-level credential of our own. Docker Business subscriptions are procured directly from Docker Inc. or an authorised Docker reseller — we will document the licensing requirement but we do not sell the subscription.
No, that is explicitly out of scope. Writing production Dockerfiles, refactoring legacy applications into containers and tuning multi-stage builds is development work that belongs with your in-house engineering team or a specialist container-platform consultancy. Emirtech delivers the Docker host, runtime, registry integration and CI/CD build infrastructure that your developers then use.
Both. We install Docker Engine CE on Ubuntu 22.04/24.04 LTS, RHEL 8/9 and AlmaLinux 9 Linux hosts, and we set up Windows Server 2022 container hosts for Windows container workloads; Docker Desktop is for developer Windows 11 and macOS machines and is not supported on Windows Server. We will recommend Linux as the default unless your application stack genuinely requires Windows containers.
We can plan and execute the host-side cut-over from a Docker Swarm cluster to a Kubernetes cluster bootstrapped with kubeadm, k3s or a managed service such as AKS or EKS. We are not a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) accredited firm, so for complex production Kubernetes operations including service mesh, GitOps and multi-tenant clusters we will recommend a CKA-accredited specialist to take ownership post-migration.
