Who installs Definitive Technology and Polk Audio home cinema systems in Abu Dhabi?
Emirtech Technology installs Definitive Technology and Polk Audio home cinema systems across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain — both Sound United family brands occupying the mid-premium home cinema tier. Founded in 2018 and ADMCC-approved for security systems, we operate from M44, Mussafah Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi, and you can reach our cinema team on +971 55 651 7843. We hold no manufacturer credential of our own. On the Definitive Technology side the models we can supply and install include the Dymension series — flagship D17, D15, D13 towers, D11 and D9 bookshelves, D7 centre, D5 surround, the matching Dymension Cube subwoofer — plus the bipolar BP-9000 series tower, UIW Reference in-wall and UIW RCS Reference in-ceiling architectural loudspeakers, and the entry ProMonitor / ProSub bookshelf and subwoofer range. Scope — what we deliver and explicitly do not
Mid-premium home cinema buyers deserve transparency on what installer credentials actually mean. Sound United (its brands were sold by Masimo to HARMAN, a Samsung subsidiary, in September 2025) runs structured dealer programmes for both Definitive Technology and Polk Audio. We are not enrolled on either programme. Here is exactly what we deliver, what we do not, and which credentials we do not hold.
- We deliver: Definitive Technology Dymension D17, D15, D13, D11, D9, D7, D5 plus Dymension Cube, BP-9000 series and UIW Reference / UIW RCS Reference architectural loudspeaker installation; Polk Reserve, Legend and Signature Elite range supply and install; AVR pairing with Denon, Marantz, Yamaha; Audyssey, Dirac and YPAO calibration; acoustic treatment; Control4 integration; warranty liaison; recalibration across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
- We do not deliver: THX Certified Cinema design, Dolby Atmos Home certification submission, ISF video calibration certification, reference-tier multichannel mastering rooms, or any service requiring manufacturer dealer-tier certification we do not hold.
- We are not: a Definitive Technology Authorised Dealer, a Polk Audio Authorised Dealer, a Sound United Premier Partner, a Sound United Authorised Distributor, or enrolled on any Definitive Tech or Polk dealer-tier programme.
- We are not affiliated with: Sound United (HARMAN / Samsung), Definitive Technology, Polk Audio, authorised Definitive Tech or Polk distributors in UAE, Klipsch, Bowers & Wilkins, KEF, JBL or Yamaha.
- Our only confirmed manufacturer credential is Control4 installer — every other brand we install commercially via authorised UAE supply channels but with no dealer-tier badge.
- We do not hold SIRA registration, ISO 27001, NESA or ADHICS certification, AVIXA CTS or THX certification — these are not required for Sound United home cinema installation work.
- Geographic scope is Abu Dhabi and Al Ain; selective Dubai engagement only for non-regulated home cinema work where client relationships justify travel.
If a competing proposal claims Definitive Technology or Polk Audio authorised dealer status, ask to see the current Sound United dealer certificate. Honest scoping protects your project budget and warranty path. Call our cinema team on +971 55 651 7843 to confirm what we can and cannot deliver before you commit.
Common questions
FAQs
Is Emirtech a Definitive Technology or Polk Audio Authorised Dealer in UAE?
No. We are not a Definitive Technology Authorised Dealer, not a Polk Audio Authorised Dealer, and not enrolled on any Sound United dealer-tier programme. We install both brands commercially via authorised UAE supply channels. We hold no manufacturer credential of our own.
Which Definitive Technology models do you typically install in Abu Dhabi villas?
For dedicated cinemas we install Dymension D17 or D15 fronts with D7 centre, D9 or D5 surrounds and Dymension Cube subwoofers. For compact rooms BP-9000 series bipolar towers with built-in subs work well. For hidden installs we use UIW Reference in-wall and UIW RCS Reference in-ceiling for Atmos overhead and surround channels.
What Polk Audio range suits a mid-budget Abu Dhabi villa cinema?
Polk Reserve R700 or R600 towers with R400 centre and R200 or R100 surrounds give strong value at mid-tier pricing. For higher budgets Polk Legend L800 SDA flagship towers with L600 centre and L400 or L200 surrounds deliver SDA stereo dimensional array imaging. Signature Elite ES60, ES50 and ES35 suit entry budgets.
Do you calibrate the room using Audyssey, Dirac or YPAO?
Yes — Audyssey MultEQ XT32 on Denon AVR-X and Marantz Cinema AVRs, Dirac Live where licensed on the receiver, Yamaha YPAO on Aventage. We supplement with REW measurement using calibrated UMIK-1 microphone and refine target curves manually for the room you actually have, not the lab measurement.
Can you integrate Definitive Tech or Polk cinema into a Control4 smart home?
Yes. We hold no manufacturer credential of our own. We write drivers for AVR power, volume, input switching, projector or display power, lighting scenes and motorised screen control, with Snapshot Programming for movie-night, music and party moods accessible from Neeo remote, T4 touchpanel or Control4 app.
How do I get a quote for a Definitive Tech or Polk home cinema installation?
Call +971 55 651 7843 or use our request a quotation form. We arrange a site visit across Abu Dhabi or Al Ain, discuss room geometry, seating layout, budget tier, preferred brand family, AVR choice and acoustic treatment, then provide an itemised proposal with model-by-model pricing through authorised Sound United UAE supply channels.
