Our cloud cost optimization (FinOps) service is positioned with deliberate honesty: we help Abu Dhabi and Al Ain customers reduce monthly spend on Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform by implementing cost-tracking dashboards and acting on optimization recommendations — we are not a FinOps Foundation Certified Practitioner-tier accredited consultancy, not an AWS Partner Network (APN Select/Advanced/Premier) member, not a Google Cloud Premier / Authorised Partner, and not a CloudHealth, Apptio Cloudability, Spot.io or Densify reseller. Typical engagements review native tooling (Azure Cost Management + Billing, AWS Cost Explorer, GCP Billing reports) and surface common savings opportunities: rightsizing over-provisioned VMs (e.g. moving a Standard_D8s_v5 down to D4s_v5 where CPU averages under 20%), evaluating Reserved Instances, AWS Savings Plans and GCP Committed Use Discounts for steady-state workloads, shifting non-critical batch jobs to Spot / Preemptible / Azure Spot VMs, applying S3 Intelligent-Tiering, S3 Glacier, Azure Cool/Archive Blob and GCS Nearline/Coldline to ageing data, trimming egress through CDN re-architecture, and deleting orphan resources — unattached EBS/managed disks, idle classic and application load balancers, unused Elastic IPs and stale snapshots. We also assist with tagging policies, cost-allocation reports and basic chargeback/showback views, and can scope third-party tools (CloudHealth, Apptio Cloudability, Spot by NetApp, Densify, ProsperOps, Vantage) without acting as their reseller. We are not affiliated with the FinOps Foundation and we are not a mobile-app or enterprise software development firm, not a data centre operator and not a licensed Virtual CIO; we hold no manufacturer-level credential of our own. Core FinOps activities we deliver
We analyse 30-90 days of CPU, memory and network utilisation in Azure Cost Management, AWS Compute Optimizer and GCP Recommender, then propose smaller SKUs or family changes (e.g. m5 to m6i, D-series to Ds_v5) for over-provisioned VMs.
Reserved Instances, AWS Savings Plans (Compute and EC2 Instance) and GCP Committed Use Discounts modelled against steady-state baseline, with break-even and coverage targets documented before any purchase is recommended.
S3 Intelligent-Tiering, Glacier Instant/Flexible, Azure Cool and Archive Blob tiers, and GCS Nearline/Coldline applied to ageing objects, with lifecycle rules and access-pattern reviews to avoid premature retrieval charges.
Identification and supervised deletion of unattached EBS / managed disks, idle ALB/CLB/NLB and Azure load balancers, unused Elastic IPs, stale snapshots and forgotten dev/test subscriptions surfaced through tag and billing audits.

AWS Cost Explorer, Cost and Usage Reports (CUR) into S3, AWS Budgets, Compute Optimizer and Trusted Advisor cost checks, with Savings Plan and RI recommendations reviewed before customer purchase decisions.

No. Emirtech is not a FinOps Foundation Certified Practitioner-tier accredited consultancy and we do not hold FinOps Foundation organisational membership. We provide practical cost-optimization support using native cloud tools and customer-licensed third-party platforms, and we are transparent about that scope upfront.
No. We are not an AWS Partner Network member (APN Select/Advanced/Premier), not a Google Cloud Premier / Authorised Partner, and not a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider tier partner. We work inside customer-owned Azure, AWS and GCP tenants with read-only or scoped access and recommend purchases the customer transacts through their own channels.
No. We are not a CloudHealth (VMware/Broadcom), Apptio Cloudability (IBM), Spot by NetApp, Densify, ProsperOps or Vantage reseller or implementation partner. If a customer already licenses one of these platforms, we can help configure dashboards and act on its recommendations.
Outcomes vary by workload maturity. Environments that have never had a structured cost review often see meaningful reductions from rightsizing, commitments and orphan cleanup; mature environments typically see smaller incremental gains. We document a baseline before any change so savings are measurable, not theoretical.
