Voice evacuation tied to a fire alarm system is designed, interfaced, commissioned and documented with your ADCD-approved fire alarm contractor, and ADCD compliance certificates are issued by Civil Defence following their own inspection — Emirtech does not issue ADCD certificates. Emirtech's role is the Praesensa public address system itself: zoning design, loudspeaker coverage, amplifier redundancy, supervised loudspeaker line monitoring, network and fibre ring, configuration and system documentation, delivered alongside that contractor.

Can Bosch Praesensa integrate with an existing fire alarm panel?

Yes. Bosch Praesensa includes an Open Interface module that allows the system to receive trigger signals from third-party fire alarm control panels via dry-contact or IP-based connections, automatically activating pre-programmed evacuation tone and voice message sequences on the appropriate zones when the fire alarm is activated. The interface to the site's fire alarm panel is designed, tested and documented together with your ADCD-approved fire alarm contractor, who owns the fire alarm panel and the combined life-safety commissioning; Emirtech configures the Praesensa side.
