How does Emirtech deliver auto door opener and accessibility integration in Abu Dhabi?

Emirtech Technology is an electronic security and building-technology integrator (ADMCC-approved for security systems) established in 2018, operating from M44, Mussafah Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi, and reachable on +971 55 651 7843. We install and integrate auto door openers and accessibility-aligned access control across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, sourcing equipment through authorised UAE distribution channels. On the swing-door side we deploy Dormakaba ED 100 and ED 250 low-energy and full-power swing operators, suitable for public-building entrances, healthcare corridors, hospitality back-of-house and public-facing offices. For higher-traffic main entrances we install Dormakaba ST FLEX automatic sliding door systems, complete with safety sensors, breakout configurations and emergency-egress logic. Push-button actuators and wave-to-open switches are supplied from BEA Industries, Camden Door Controls and Norton Door Controls, all integrated to the door operator and the access-control reader so that authorised users trigger the opener through a single, accessibility-friendly workflow. Our accessibility-aligned access control covers low-mounted card readers at approximately 1100 mm from finished floor level (wheelchair-reachable per international guidance), audible-feedback readers for visually-impaired users, large-button keypads, Braille-labelled signage and clear-opening widths typically 900 mm or wider on accessible routes. These specifications align with the spirit of the Abu Dhabi Universal Design Code, although full Universal Design compliance is coordinated with the main contractor, architect and fit-out consultant — we deliver the door-hardware and electronic-security scope. We are not a Channel Partner or Authorised Distributor of Dormakaba, BEA, Camden or Norton (we hold no manufacturer credential of our own) and we are not a UAE Universal Design specialist or accessibility consultant. We are not affiliated with ADM (Abu Dhabi Municipality), the UAE Universal Design Code authority or any auto-door distributor as an exclusive partner. Biometric template data used in any accessibility-linked access control remains sensitive personal data under UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and is configured with on-device storage where the platform allows, encrypted transmission and explicit user consent.

Capabilities

What we install and integrate

Dormakaba Swing Operators

Supply and install Dormakaba ED 100 low-energy and ED 250 full-power swing operators on accessible entrances, washroom doors and corridor pairs. Adjustable opening force, hold-open timing and obstruction detection tuned for accessibility use.

Automatic Sliding Doors

Dormakaba ST FLEX sliding door packages for main entrances, lobbies and healthcare reception. Includes activation sensors, safety sensors, breakout glass where required and emergency-egress sequencing during power loss.

Accessibility Actuators

BEA Industries, Camden Door Controls and Norton Door Controls push-button and wave-to-open actuators at wheelchair-reachable height. Hardwired or RF-linked to door operator and integrated with access control so a single credential unlocks and opens.

Accessible Access Control

Low-mounted readers at approximately 1100 mm AFFL, large-button keypads, audible and tactile feedback for visually-impaired users, and Braille door-side labelling. Reader brand selected from authorised UAE distribution to match the wider access-control platform.

Scope — what we deliver and explicitly do not

Emirtech is an ADMCC-approved electronic-security integrator focused on door hardware, access control and accessibility-aligned configurations. We are transparent about where our scope ends and where statutory accessibility, construction and architectural responsibilities sit with other parties.

  • We deliver: supply and install Dormakaba ED 100 / ED 250 swing operators and ST FLEX automatic sliding doors, BEA / Camden / Norton actuator integration, low-mounted accessibility-aligned readers at approximately 1100 mm AFFL, audible and tactile feedback configuration, Braille labelling and commissioning across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
  • We do not deliver: statutory Universal Design certification, accessibility audits, architectural ramp / threshold / circulation design, structural alterations to door openings, or any civil works — these are coordinated with the architect, main contractor and fit-out specialist.
  • We are not: a UAE Universal Design specialist, an accessibility consultant, an ADM-licensed Universal Design auditor, a Channel Partner or Authorised Distributor of Dormakaba, BEA, Camden or Norton (we hold no manufacturer credential of our own), and not a SIRA, NESA, ADHICS or ISO 27001 certified entity.
  • We are not affiliated with: Dormakaba, BEA Industries, Camden Door Controls, Norton Door Controls, ADM (Abu Dhabi Municipality), the UAE Universal Design Code authority, or any authorised auto-door distributor in UAE as an exclusive partner.
  • Geographic scope for ADMCC-regulated electronic-security work is limited to Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
  • Where biometric credentials are linked to accessible-route doors, biometric template data is configured under UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) requirements; Emirtech delivers technical controls and is not a PDPL legal advisor.

Common questions

FAQs

Are you an Authorised Distributor of Dormakaba, BEA, Camden or Norton in the UAE?

No. Emirtech is an ADMCC-approved electronic-security integrator. We are not a Channel Partner or Authorised Distributor of Dormakaba, BEA Industries, Camden Door Controls or Norton Door Controls — we hold no manufacturer credential of our own. All auto-door hardware is procured through authorised UAE distribution channels for traceable warranty support.

Do you certify the building for UAE Universal Design Code compliance?

No. Universal Design certification under the Abu Dhabi Universal Design Code is a statutory and architectural process coordinated by the main contractor, architect and accessibility consultant. We are not a UAE Universal Design specialist or ADM-licensed auditor. We supply door-hardware and electronic-security configurations aligned with international accessibility guidance — final compliance sign-off remains with the appointed Universal Design consultant.

What mounting heights and clear-opening widths do you typically configure?

On accessible routes we install card readers and actuators at approximately 1100 mm from finished floor level, which is within wheelchair-reachable range per international guidance. Clear-opening widths on accessible doors are typically 900 mm or wider, subject to leaf size and frame condition. Specific dimensions are confirmed during the site survey and aligned with the architect's accessibility schedule.

How do you support visually-impaired and hearing-impaired users?

Readers and keypads are selected with audible feedback (beep / voice prompt) and tactile feedback (vibration or raised key markings) where the platform supports it. Door-side and reader-side signage includes Braille labelling. For hearing-impaired users we tune visual LED indicators and configure clear visual cues at the actuator. Detailed inclusive-design strategy is set by your accessibility consultant.

Can the auto door opener be triggered by biometric or mobile credentials, and what about UAE PDPL?

Yes — actuators can be triggered by card, mobile credential or biometric reader integrated to the access-control platform. Biometric template data is sensitive personal data under UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). We configure on-device template storage where the platform supports it, encrypted transmission, retention limits and deletion workflows. The customer obtains explicit consent before biometric enrolment. Emirtech delivers technical controls and is not a PDPL legal advisor.

How do I request a quotation for auto door opener and accessibility integration?

Call +971 55 651 7843, email [email protected] or use the online form at emirtech.ae/request-quotation.html. A site survey across Abu Dhabi or Al Ain covers accessible-route door audit, hardware selection (Dormakaba / BEA / Camden / Norton), reader and actuator heights, integration to access control and an itemised written proposal with delivery and commissioning programme.
