Layers, because one sensor is an opinion
A single detector reports an event; a layered system builds a case. We design from the outside in. The perimeter layer — shutter and door contacts, sensors on any accessible rear or roof opening — announces an attempt while it is still an attempt. The trap layer puts dual-technology motion detection across the routes an intruder must use: the sales floor, the corridor to the stockroom, the stair. The point layer guards what matters most, with vibration sensing on safes, strongroom surfaces and shared walls. Each layer confirms the others, which is how false alarms are kept rare without dulling the system's nerve. Arming follows the trading day: full set at close, part-set for the back of house during deliveries, automatic reminders if closing time passes with the system unset.
What an alarm cannot do alone is show you what happened — pairing detection with cameras turns a 3 a.m. signal into an informed decision, which is why we recommend designing it together with our CCTV installation work in Madinat Zayed. Panels, detector types and monitoring options are set out in the Alarm Systems overview. Unless you contract a separate monitoring provider, alarm signals reach the phones you nominate; Emirtech does not run a 24/7 monitoring centre or police dispatch. Locally, every engagement starts with a free survey — walls, openings, neighbours and routines all considered — and an itemised written quotation that itemises the design before any commitment.
