An Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID design engagement begins with discovery: current forest and domain topology, FSMO role placement, sites and services replication, DNS integration, Group Policy inventory, OU structure, service-account hygiene and existing Entra tenant configuration. We then produce a target architecture covering on-premise Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) on Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 — forest functional level, domain controllers (physical or virtualised on Hyper-V/VMware), OU design aligned to delegation and GPO scoping, fine-grained password policy, LAPS for local-administrator credentials, and read-only domain controllers where remote sites need them. For cloud identity we design Entra Connect (formerly Azure AD Connect) hybrid sync with the appropriate signing method — password hash sync, pass-through authentication or AD FS federation — plus filtered sync, source anchor selection and Entra Connect Health. On the Entra ID side we cover Premium P1/P2 features: Conditional Access policies, Identity Protection risk policies, Privileged Identity Management (PIM) for just-in-time admin access, Access Reviews, named locations, MFA registration campaigns, Entra B2B guest collaboration and Entra External ID (the successor to Azure AD B2C) for customer-facing apps. RBAC role design covers built-in and custom Entra roles plus Azure subscription roles. We implement, document, hand over and train your internal team. Written design document covering AD DS topology, Entra Connect topology, Conditional Access policy matrix, PIM role catalogue, RBAC model, MFA strategy, break-glass account procedure and recovery posture, presented for stakeholder sign-off.
Phased build of new domain controllers, OU restructure, GPO consolidation, Entra Connect installation, Conditional Access rollout in report-only then enforcement mode, PIM activation and pilot-group validation before tenant-wide cutover.
As-built documentation, runbooks for common tasks (new user, leaver, role elevation, DC recovery), admin training session for your internal IT team and post-go-live support arrangements stated in the written quotation.

We design and implement Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID honestly via authorised UAE Microsoft channels. Licensing is procured through your existing CSP or directly from Microsoft.
Both. Engagements typically cover on-premise AD DS (forest, domains, DCs, OUs, GPOs, FSMO, replication, DNS) and Microsoft Entra ID (tenant configuration, Conditional Access, PIM, Identity Protection, Access Reviews, B2B / External ID). Entra Connect ties the two together in hybrid identity. Pure-cloud-only and pure-on-premise-only engagements are also supported.
Conditional Access requires Entra ID Premium P1 (included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium, E3 and above). Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Identity Protection risk policies and Access Reviews require Entra ID Premium P2 (included in Microsoft 365 E5 and above). We will map your existing licences during discovery and flag any gaps before design begins.
Yes. Federation-to-managed-authentication migration is a common request to retire AD FS infrastructure. We plan the cutover, configure staged rollout in Entra Connect, validate seamless SSO, run a pilot group, then complete tenant-wide cutover and decommission AD FS. MFA, Conditional Access and password protection are validated end-to-end before go-live.
No. Emirtech is not a 24/7 SOC operator and does not offer managed identity operations. We design, implement, document, train and provide support arrangements stated in the written quotation. Ongoing sign-in log monitoring, alert triage and identity-governance reviews are your responsibility or that of a managed-identity / SOC provider you engage separately.
